BASIC WARDROBE GUIDELINES:

The season is EARLY FALL, NOT Summer! 

It is New York - season is late spring/early fall - no short sleeves, shorts, open-toed shoes/sandals.Please bring jackets/light-weight coats but refrain from any puffy coats.
Color Palette:
Burnt colors - rust, ochre, burgundy, maroon, mauve
Greens - dark jade, moss, hunter
Browns - tans, walnut, dark chocolate
Grays - pearl grey to charcoal
Black is always appropriate for NYC
Please refrain from bringing bright colors, neons, cherry red, hot pink, turquoise, baby blue, cobalt.
 
****PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE COLOR BLUE****
 
Subtle textures and small non-busy patterns would be ideal. NO LOGOS - this includes sports teams.
Always bring your wardrobe clean and hung up, pressed/steamed without hard wrinkles. You are encouraged to bring options so we can mix and match pieces.

CHINATOWN WARDROBE:
 
NYC - run down, working class. BUT NOT HOMELESS OR VAGRANT. Clothing should not be new- clothing should be well worn and shabby. Earth tones (brown, dark green, greys, rust, golden rod) please NO red or blue (NO ROYAL BLUE OR BABY BLUE EVER).
 
Pedestrians:
 
Men: Hoodies, slacks (jeans, khakis, dickies, cargo pants), t-shirts to layer, button-front shirts, zip up jackets / fleece, crewneck sweatshirts and sweaters. It is early spring/fall - NO SHORT SLEEVES unless it's under a shirt/jacket. Low profile sneakers (no neon or reflective tape), ankle boots, oxfords, casual footwear. 
 
Women: Jeans, slacks, jackets (zip up and button up), layering t-shirts, tank tops for under button-front shirts/blouses, crewneck sweatshirts/sweaters. Nondescript sneakers, flats, oxfords, ankle boots.

I-9 INFORMATION:

Everyone must bring valid, unexpired photo ID i.e. passport / driver's license to fill out the I-9 on the voucher you will be given on set. You cannot work without presenting identification. 

 

You need to come to set camera ready. Please report to set with clean hair. Women should come with basic make-up.
